Case study: The SRP Portable Radio

For the next generation of TETRA portable radios, Sepura had the opportunity to take the market lead. The SRP portable radio was aimed to meet the emergency services requirements. Wright Design met these challenges by producing a design which unlike previous products could be shoulder worn, was easy to use, robust and suitably styled.

The success of the product is reflected by the huge increase in sales and becoming the dominant force within its market. As further acknowledgement, the SRP2000 portable radio it was a finalist in the DBA Design Effectiveness Awards.
