Pro / ENGINEER makes the cut
Design software company PTC with their CAD package Pro/ENGINEER have included a feature on Wright Design in their global newsletter, detailing how Wright Design used the software in the design of the new Hayter Spirit 41 lawn mower.
The article went on to describe how using the appropriate design tools Wright Design were able to reduce the development from 24 to less than 12 months. Within four months of the project start a prototype unit was launched at a major garden show, where it was very well received, doubling the predicted sales orders.
As previous finalists of the Pro / ENGINEER world design competition, Wright Design was approached by PTC for this article.
